The project aimed to rescue General Escobedo ́s deserted downtown district. Throughout an extensive and detailed research, four acting axis where defined:

Recover public space: Restoring the existing municipal
parks and creating a linear park along the deteriorated
Pesqueria river and the abandoned railroad tracks.

Increase land value: Increasing urban density in the
downtown district by suggesting the development of
apartment buildings and mix use complexes.

Incorporate new urban facilities: By adding a cultural and social development center that aims to increase
education and life quality for the citizens of General
Escobedo.

Encourage economical development in the area:
The addition of a technical university that will provide qualified man power for the existing and future industrial plants.
This is Acting Axis #1.
