GENERAL ESCOBEDO, N.L., MEXICO

The project aimed to rescue General Escobedo ́s deserted downtown district. Throughout an extensive and detailed research, four acting axis where defined:

  1. Recover public space: Restoring the existing municipal

parks and creating a linear park along the deteriorated

Pesqueria river and the abandoned railroad tracks.

  2. Increase land value: Increasing urban density in the

downtown district by suggesting the development of

apartment buildings and mix use complexes.

  3. Incorporate new urban facilities: By adding a cultural and social development center that aims to increase

education and life quality for the citizens of General

    Escobedo.

  4. Encourage economical development in the area:

The addition of a technical university that will provide qualified man power for the existing and future industrial plants.
