CASA LAS PALMAS

Currently under construction. The client, a soon to be retired couple, required that the project was functional for their day-to-day lifestyle, but could easily accommodate their children and grandchildren a few times a year when they come visit. To accomplish that, all service areas were located at the street level, and every space they need for their normal activities, on the second floor. The third-floor houses three additional bedrooms and is designed to be completely independent from the rest of the house; when not in house it can be sectioned off from the house’s mechanical systems, and when needed, conditioned to receive guests.

The main living room is designed to entertain guests with a floor-to-ceiling curtain wall with views to the country club golf course holes 8 and 9 at the front. In the back, an expansive-view terrace allows the clients to host sunset happy hours and dinner parties, while enjoying views of hole 18.
